Welcome Sam, the latest member of the Carmichael Physiotherapy Team
We are delighted to welcome Sam as the latest member of the Carmichael Physiotherapy Team
In addition to his work within the NHS, Sam will be here in the clinic on a Thursday evening during August and also regularly on Saturdays.
Sam’s main clinical passion lies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and he has a particular interest in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries.
Since graduating with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, I have worked as a rotational clinician within the NHS, gaining experience across a range of core specialties. Prior to this, I completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, which provided a strong foundation in human performance, exercise physiology, and athlete development. In addition to my NHS work, I have also developed a strong background in sport, working pitch-side in rugby and within football academies, helping athletes recover from injury and return to peak performance. My main clinical passion lies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular interest in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. In my spare time, I enjoy running, padel and both watching and playing football.
